Alice In Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland is a dark ride in Disneyland that park visitors have been enjoying since 1958. Riders follow the white rabbit through the ride through different rooms of scenes you will find in the movie. Alice in Wonderland makes a strong connection to the movie we all know. Walt Disney had a strong affiliate with making dark rides associated with stories or films we are familiar with. This ride definitely does just that.

Unlike other dark rides in Disneyland, Alice in Wonderland takes you from ground level up to a second level which at one point exits the building the ride is housed in. The ride essentially takes you on an adventure where in the beginning of the ride, Disney does a great job of making the rider feel like you are falling down a rabbit hole. On the ride you will encounter Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. There is a really fun room where the riders goes through the rose garden. Just like in the movie the you will see the Queen of Hearts playing croquet and then see the playing cards painting the roses red. Just like in the movie, the queen orders off with her head, referring to Alice. As previously mentioned, Alice in Wonderland does take you outside the ride building winding downward again. Once you go back in the building its not long till you find yourself at the Mad Tea Party and hearing the song “A very merry unbirthday”.

Alice in wonderland is a a ride that you must add to the list for your next family vacation to Disneyland.
